HCSM Careers - Training and Continuing Education
Your opportunities for development
HCSM promotes and supports your development
From working student to associate partner. At HCSM Tax Consulting, this is just one of many success stories. The pass rate of colleagues in the tax advisor exam also speaks for itself. Basically, you can shape your career path individually. Further training to become a tax specialist, accountant, courses, or part-time studies are all possible. HCSM supports you with training concepts, time off, and, if necessary, a subsidy for training costs. Coordination takes place in annual development meetings, in which agreements and framework conditions are defined.
“My journey at HCSM Tax Consulting”

"After completing my bachelor's degree in business administration, I knew that I wanted to pursue a master's degree in taxation at Mainz University of Applied Sciences as part of a dual study program while working full-time. This allowed me to gain the necessary professional experience while studying so that I could then take the tax advisor exam. In HCSM, I found a firm that actively promoted this model. I was able to flexibly coordinate my working hours with my studies at Mainz University of Applied Sciences, and getting a taste of various projects prepared me well. For me, this was definitely the right path, and I would do it again today."

"After completing my studies, I initially wanted to gain some professional experience. However, I knew that I wanted to continue my education after completing my bachelor's degree. I decided to pursue further training as a tax specialist while working at the Dr. Endriss Tax Academy. This allows me to stay sharp in practice, because HCSM gives me the opportunity to explore all the specialist topics that interest me and are relevant to my further training. That gives me a good feeling about my exam preparation."
Katharina Maria Fuchs
Senior Consultant

"During my bachelor's degree, I first worked as an intern and working student at one of the “Big Four” accounting firms and in the tax department of a listed company. It was important to me to also gain insights into tax consulting for small and medium-sized businesses in order to find the best path for me. On the recommendation of a fellow student, I chose HCSM Steuerberatung. Right from the start, I was impressed by the high level of personal responsibility, the close relationship with clients, and the flat hierarchy at the firm. After completing my master's degree at Rhein-Main University of Applied Sciences, I stayed at HCSM and took my tax advisor exam after two years. The individual leave of absence and financial support were a huge help in this regard. I then specialized in corporate tax. With success!"

This is also a perfect opportunity to improve their language skills in a professional context. Of course, HCSM Steuerberatung is committed to welcoming international interns from the network.
